The night before, introduce your board to your kids, and emphasize that you’re learning to be a better parent which is why you’re included on it too.

The next day, start using the board; make sure you’re focusing on one rule per week to prevent overwhelm.

Don’t be tempted to apply these consequences to bad behaviour that is not on the board. Do what you were doing before as you focus on just one rule per week.

Start with the positive action consequence first, and if your kids do not complete the consequence within the time allotted (usually 15 minutes) only then do you resort to the negative deprivation consequence.
